Sandye began selling real estate in 2016 after retiring from the military. Utilizing her 35+ years as an accountant, she strives to ensure her clients understand all phases of the home buying or selling process including taking the time to educate new home buyers every step of the way.

Her professional work ethic comes from a combination of her years as a financial manager and 30 years in the military serving both part-time in the Air National Guard, while working full-time as a civilian auditor, and later working full-time at the National Guard Bureau (NGB) in the DC metropolitan area. She worked her way up the ranks as an enlisted airman as well as an officer, retiring in 2015 as a colonel. Her active duty years were stationed at Andrews Air Force Base and the Pentagon where she retired as the Chief of the Financial Services Division overseeing accounting, auditing, and policy for over 108,000 airmen in the Air National Guard. Sandye’s background, commitment to serving others and proven work ethic make her the perfect choice for military veterans and civilian customers alike.

She successfully earned her Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Mississippi College, as well as her Associates from Hinds Community College. She was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, and returned home to MS after retiring from active duty military. She is a Certified Defense Financial Manager, Certified Government Financial Manager, and is active in various community volunteer programs.

As a firm believer in giving back to the community, Sandye is passionate about animal rescue supporting adoption from shelters, fostering rescued dogs and cats, trap-neuter-release programs to control over-population of feral cats in MS, and donates to programs like The Big Fix which offers extremely affordable spay/neuter programs.
